“The Bumble and Bumble Color Minded Shampoo is a revelation. It keeps my red hair red, which is the hardest color to maintain. I feel like I”ve been looking for this shampoo all my life!”

Our experience:

The Bumble and Bumble Color Minded Shampoo is one that’s ideal for all hair types and one for those with fine hair as its super super gentle.

It’s pricey but worth it if you want to make the most of your hair color.

It’s quite thick and creamy as a shampoo goes, but it lathers well so you only really need a small amount. It only took one wash and rinse to make our hair feel squeaky clean. It smells fresh but subtle so it’s not overpowering.

Big thumbs up on this one from hairdressers too who think it is the best shampoo for colored hair as it contains no nasty sulphates that strip your color and dry your hair.

Which Shampoo Should I Use?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bumble and Bumble shampoo safe for color-treated hair?

The short answer is yes. Bumble and Bumble’s Color Minded line is specifically formulated to protect and preserve color-treated hair.

The shampoo contains a UV inhibitor to prevent color fade and utilizes a sulfate-free formula to gently cleanse without stripping color.

The sweet smelling shampoo contains a blend of nourishing oils to keep hair healthy and hydrated.

So, if you’re looking for a shampoo to keep your color looking fresh, Bumble and Bumble’s Color Minded line is a great option.

Can you use Bumble and Bumble shampoo every day?

It depends on the specific Bumble and Bumble shampoo you’re using and your hair type.

Some of their shampoos, like the Sunday Shampoo, are designed for more infrequent use as they contain clarifying agents to deeply cleanse hair.

However, their Daily Shampoo is specifically formulated for daily use and is gentle enough to not strip hair of its natural oils.

If you have oily hair, using their Daily Shampoo every day could work well for you. If you have drier hair, you might want to alternate with a more hydrating shampoo to avoid over-drying.

Is Bumble and Bumble shampoo silicone-free?

No, Bumble and Bumble shampoos aren’t silicone-free.

However, they’ve recently launched a new line called Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil that contains a sulfate-free and silicone-free shampoo.

The line is designed to hydrate and tame frizz—and the shampoo is gentle enough to use daily.

So, if you’re someone who prefers to steer clear of silicone in your hair care routine, you might want to check out their Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil line.

Is Bumble and Bumble shampoo good?

Overall, Bumble and Bumble shampoos are high-quality products that live up to the hype.

They’re formulated with quality ingredients and are designed to address specific hair concerns.

They’re also cruelty-free and sell refillable pouches as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional shampoo bottles.

Everyone’s hair is different, so what works well for one person might not work for another.

If you’re interested in trying Bumble and Bumble shampoo, we recommend doing so with a travel-size bottle to test it out before committing to the full-size product.

Parting words

In conclusion, it is possible to care for colored hair without risking damage if the right shampoo is chosen.

Both of these shampoos, Bumble and Bumble Color Minded Shampoo or Label M Colorstay, offer color protection along with superior cleansing action, leaving your hair looking vibrant and fresh.

While it can be difficult to choose between two great options, both of these are excellent choices for caring for colored hair.

Ultimately, the decision will depend on personal preference; do you want a deeper cleanse or a reduced color fade? Do you prefer thick creamy lathers or a light foam?

The choice is yours! Whichever one you decide to go with, rest assured that your hair will thank you!
